She/her • M.S. in Psychology & Brain Sciences • M.Ed in Mental Health Counseling
What are your specialties and areas of focus?
Although I have a generalist background, my primary areas of clinical focus are the treatment of trauma and dissociation (through stabilization/skill building, imaginal exposure and reprocessing, and parts-work) and gender-affirming supportive psychotherapy.
What drew you to this work?
My primary motivation for starting this work was connecting with my local trans community and witnessing the pervasive and unmet need for accessible, trauma-informed mental healthcare for the queer and trans folks I am in community with. Although statistically we are exposed to traumatic events and report trauma-related symptoms at levels comparable to or above those of combat veterans, the level of research attention, funding, clinical training, provider competency, and accessible services available to us is sorely lacking compared to other communities with comparable levels of need. I wanted to be a part of closing that gap.
Who are you excited to work with?
I'm most excited to work with clients who are queer, trans, kinky, poly, plural, POC, who have significant personal histories of trauma or marginalization. Or any combination of all of those things!
More about me
I was born on the island of Guam, and outside of work, I have an abiding passion for writing cheesy romantasy novels. My favorite ways to take care of myself are drawing, creative writing, playing music, taking long walks, and spending time in nature

"I got tired of hearing all of my friends, peers, and loved ones in the community talking about how hard it was to find an affordable therapist who understood queer/trans experiences and could help with trauma and dissociation.
So I became one myself."
