What are your specialties and areas of focus?
My training has prepared me to support people from a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiences through both individual and group yoga offerings. While my classes are open to everyone, I have a particular passion for creating affirming, accessible spaces for people navigating trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, shame, and spiritual exploration. My approach integrates yoga with what I have learned about Psychology and Human Sexuality. I am especially committed to serving people of color and those who identify as queer, transgender, gender-diverse, polyamorous, or ethically non-monogamous, offering spaces where they can reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and their communities.
What drew you to this work?
As a child, I was deeply aware of the injustices unfolding around me and the lasting impact they had on the people and communities I cared about. As I grew older, I found myself drawn to many forms of healing and wellness, including yoga, psychology, and spiritual practices. For as long as I can remember, I have believed in the power of wellness while recognizing that systemic barriers often make it difficult for many people to access or sustain it-- myself included. My goal is to help bridge that gap. Exploring diverse approaches to healing has been transformative in my own life, and I hope to create opportunities for others to experience that same sense of growth, empowerment, and well-being.
Who are you excited to work with?
There’s so much trauma and so much pain that is just going unexplored because people think this is just the way life is supposed to be. Too many of us are suffocating, and we assume that no one is getting enough air either. It’s meaningful work to help people unpack that, and that type of client comes in so many different forms. I’m excited to work with kinky, queer, neurodivergent, poly POC. People who are working through trauma. People who want to explore their relationships with themself and with others.
More about me
I am a fiend for a delicious meal or a decadent dessert, and I love spending time in the kitchen making them myself! I love spending time with loved ones, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature. I am always happy to get lost in a good book.
