Frequently asked questions

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.

Should I do therapy, peer support, or coaching?

Therapy is only available for Pennsylvania residents, but we do offer individual peer support with any of our therapists or peer supporters.

Peer support differs in that your supporter cannot make diagnoses or "treat" a mental health condition.

Coaching is 1-on-1 goal-oriented work without a mental health focus (ex., career coaching)

How does the sliding scale work?

Our sliding scale is structured to allow us to offer affordable therapy to as many people as possible. If you need to pay below our average price, you can discuss this during intake or while signing up.

When you pay more than our average price, you help to fund low-cost services for those who can’t. Our dream is that, through donations and sliding fees, one day no one will be turned away for a lack of funds

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we don't accept insurance. Our fee structure is intended to be comprable to copays.

If you need information for out-of-network reimbursement, speak to our intake team or your service provider, and they can follow up with you then.

Do I need to be in the United States?

For therapy, you must be a resident of Pennsylvania. For all other services, including peer support, you can be located anywhere in the country or the world.

We operate in the Eastern Time Zone.
